What Is Pro Advantage Training?
Pro Advantage Training® is an accelerated sports performance training program for professional athletes designed to empower the achievement of their highest potential.
The symptoms and cause of barriers to this goal are addressed on the What We Do page of this web site. Sometimes it takes years to figure things out by yourself. Let us help you shorten the learning curve by considering the information below.
There are Five Major Obstacles to developing your innate ability and playing consistently at your best. Pro Advantage Training® helps you identify and find the answer for the following problems.
1. Not knowing your ideal competitive mind-set.
Our state of mind during competition, especially under pressure, was typically formed before or during our high school days, mostly subconsciously. From a more aware and more mature perspective we can choose our ideal competitive mind-set.
2. Not knowing how to maintain total self-confidence.
This is a subject that is not taught. But there are principles that govern how and to what degree we have confidence in ourselves as a person and as a player.
3. Not knowing how to manage your adrenaline.
Often it is too high, especially under pressure. Sometimes it is too low, usually as an attempt to stay relaxed. There is a way to determine and maintain the best level for you.
4. Not knowing how to put your mind and body in sync.
To maintain a repeatable delivery or swing your mind and body need to be in sync. The same is true for making an adjustment quickly when needed. You have an intention in your mind and a habit in your body. Often they are in conflict. Aligning the two is the key to a consistent performance.
5. Not knowing how to recover from stress.
Baseball can be a grind, both on the whole of the season and during individual games. Knowing how to restore your physical and mental energy during a slump or bad moment in a game is crucial to long term success.
Who Is This For?
This training is for Major League players who desire to attain the highest level of performance that their natural physical ability and applied mental skills training will allow.
